The amount and currency you are funding, stated clearly before the payment is created.
PorteCash is being built for international remittance into DR Congo and South Sudan — with a quote you can inspect before you commit and a status that does not stop at “sent”.
No live quote is published today. When a corridor is activated, the quote is designed to show the full picture before you confirm.
The amount and currency you are funding, stated clearly before the payment is created.
The amount the recipient is expected to receive, in the destination currency.
The fee and the FX rate applied, shown as separate parts of the price — never hidden in a single number.
The moment the quoted rate stops being valid, so you know when to decide.
Fees, exchange rates and delivery estimates are not published while PorteCash is pre-launch. A live quote requires an approved corridor, an approved FX source and clear fee disclosure.
Payment, provider, payout, settlement and reconciliation are different states. PorteCash is designed to keep them separate instead of collapsing them into one green tick.
| Stage | What it means | What it does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Instruction | The amount, recipient and funding details have been recorded. | That the money has moved. |
| Compliance decision | PorteCash has made its own screening and approval decision. | That a provider will accept the payment. |
| Provider submission | The payment has been submitted to an approved provider, or is waiting for evidence. | That the recipient has been paid. |
| Payout confirmation | Provider evidence confirms the recipient was paid. | That PorteCash has settled with the provider. |
| Settlement | The financial obligation between PorteCash and the provider is settled. | That every record has been reconciled. |
| Reconciliation | PorteCash records have been matched against provider records. | That a new payment should be created. |
This is a state model, not a live transaction. No payment shown on this site has occurred.
Phase 1 focuses on international receiving in DR Congo and South Sudan. International sending from either market is disabled in Phase 1. Domestic wallet features and cash access are separately gated.

Pre-launch · not liveReceiving methods will appear only when an approved partner route is technically certified and operationally ready. PorteCash does not provide physical cash itself.
A timeout is not a failure. When a submission outcome is unknown, the payment is investigated and resolved from evidence rather than retried or re-routed.
An uncertain submission is marked unresolved. It is not automatically retried, re-routed or counted as a success.
Returns, releases and corrections require verified provider status so a customer is never paid twice.
Balanced ledger entries, audit events and deterministic reason codes sit behind every state change.
